It’s no secret that here at Visual Impact Promotions, we love our inflatables!  They are a great way to get your message pumped up and airborne.

Well we aren’t the only ones that feel this way. A lot of people like visually stunning, airborne items. In fact, people like them so much that they sometime jump right in to be a part of it all. Don’t be surprised if sometime this summer you see some hot air balloons floating around.  While these balloons are now used mainly for entertainment purposes, they were originally created for travel.

    Seasons and Marketing

    Woman Promoting the Season

How do we make sure that when the weather heats up business doesn’t cool down?  While some businesses are naturals to do better as the weather gets hotter, for others, it’s just the opposite. Are you sitting in the office worried about how well you’ll do during the upcoming season? Many businesses face challenges when the weather changes – and it always does.

If this is a slower season for you – a post written by the U.S. Small Business Administration lists a few things you can do to help steady out business and at the very least, make the most of your slower season from a marketing, such as:

    Customer Service: The New Marketing

    Friendly Customer Service

When we talk about marketing, peoples’ minds often jump to slogans, consumer purchasing patterns, thoughtful social media ads and marketing material; and rightly so.  However, one area that we may not often associate with marketing is customer service. In a day and age where social media usage is heavy and review websites are often perused by potential customers, one would be wise to think about customer service and how people feel during and immediately after their dealings with your business.  Peoples’ opinions of your products are often swayed their direct experience with your customer service team.

Looking to 2019 – Trade Shows

    promotions trade show events

No matter what your company does, in 2019 there will be an industry specific trade show you can attend.  In a previous post we discussed the benefits of attending a trade show and the positive impact it could have on your business.

Trade shows are a wonderful way for a business, big or small, to share their product or service with a select audience, to see who your competitors are, and to hopefully build relationships with new customers. It’s a great and relatively inexpensive way to develop and strengthen your brand.  To help you see the trade shows in your location and industry, EventsinAmerica.com has put together a list of all the upcoming trade shows in 2019.  With close to 1500 events nationwide there is no reason to not attend a show this coming year.

Ads, Ads, Ads – All I See Are Ads

    Promotional Inflatable

These days the American population is bombarded with advertisements.  Depending on the data you look at, some believe we see up to 5000 ads per day, while other numbers are in the high hundreds.  Between advertisements that we see while driving, to commercials on TV, to the often-unwanted ads that pop up on the Internet and even in your email account, it’s easy to see how we can be exposed to so many ads.  But how many of these do we actually see or process?  According to  data on Britannica we may actually miss quite a bit of it.  Our eyes, skin, ears, nose (smell) and mouth (taste) are able to send any where from 1,000 to 10,000,000 bits of information to the brain per second.  When put together, it is estimated that the human body sends approximately 11 million bits per second to the brain for processing, yet the conscious mind seems to be able to only process around 50 bits per second.

What does this mean for the business trying to promote its product?   It all boils down to one key thing: it has to make an impression.  (more…)
